What kind of coaching do you offer?
I specialize in trauma-informed coaching for people navigating emotional abuse, coercive control, high-conflict relationships, and post-separation dynamics—including legal abuse and parenting challenges. Whether you’re in it, leaving it, or trying to heal after it, I help you untangle the confusion and come back to yourself.
Is this therapy?
No. Coaching is not a replacement for therapy. While I’m trained in the psychology of abuse and trauma recovery, I don’t diagnose or treat mental health conditions. I help you make sense of your experience, develop strategy, and build emotional resilience in real time. Many of my clients work with both a therapist and a coach.
Who do you work with?
I work with survivors of emotional abuse, including:
-
Those who are still in the relationship and unsure what to do.
-
People recovering from a trauma bond or narcissistic relationship.
-
Individuals navigating high-conflict divorces, custody battles, or legal abuse.
-
Protective parents struggling with gaslighting, image management, and court challenges.
-
Anyone feeling “crazy,” stuck, or constantly second-guessing themselves after emotional manipulation.
I don’t know if it was abuse. Can you still help me?
Yes. Many clients come to me unsure if what they experienced “counts.” If you’re feeling confused, dismissed, or blamed—and you’re constantly justifying or explaining your pain—there’s a reason. We can untangle that together. You don’t need a label to deserve support.
What does a typical session look like?
Each session is guided by your needs. We might:
-
Decode manipulation or gaslighting patterns.
-
Map the cycle of abuse and identify trauma bonding.
-
Strategize for upcoming court, mediation, or communication with a high-conflict ex.
-
Rebuild your sense of self, safety, and truth.
-
Prepare scripts, documentation, or parenting plans
It’s not just talk. It’s validation, strategy, and forward movement.
How do I get started?
You can book a 20-minute Intro Call for $25. You can book it here. If we’re a good fit, that fee can be applied to your first session or coaching package.
What’s your approach?
I blend trauma-informed care, high-conflict divorce training, and a deep understanding of narcissistic and coercive dynamics. I’ve been through it myself—and I don’t believe in toxic positivity, generic advice, or forcing “forgiveness.” You deserve to feel safe, seen, and strong.
Can you help with court preparation or documentation?
Yes. I offer specific strategy for navigating legal systems, preparing parenting plans, gathering documentation, and responding to high-conflict or manipulative behaviors in family court. I also teach a documentation course for survivors: https://jessicaknight.thinkific.com/courses/documentation
What if my abuser is a woman? Will you still work with me?
Absolutely. Abuse isn’t gendered. I work with all survivors—men, women, and non-binary individuals—and with anyone whose experience has been minimized or misunderstood.
Do you work with clients outside the U.S.?
Yes, I work with clients internationally. All sessions are virtual, and I can accommodate different time zones.
What’s your cancellation policy?
Sessions must be canceled or rescheduled at least 24 hours in advance. Last-minute cancellations make it difficult to offer that time to someone else, and the full session fee may apply. I know life is unpredictable, and I do my best to be understanding when emergencies happen.
Do you offer sliding scale pricing or scholarships?
I offer limited sliding scale spots each month for survivors in financial need. If my rates are a barrier, please reach out. I also have lower-cost resources like courses, toolkits, and my private podcast series, Unhooked.
Is everything I share confidential?
Yes. I do not share anything you tell me. You deserve a space where you can speak freely and safely.
